Welcome to our Belonging Workshops catalog!

The workshops below represent our core curriculum that can be packaged together to create a custom learning experience for your staff. In these sessions, participants engage in a brave space to address important aspects of belonging and community at work.


Our highly interactive workshops equip participants with practical tools through individual reflection, small group discussions, and cross-team collaborations. Participants actively explore strategies that foster inclusivity and strengthen your organizational culture.   Module D

Length: 2-6 hour session

Workshop Goals:

  • Review important LGBTQ+ vocabulary and the history and rights of the LGBTQ+ community. 
  • Discuss how people who fall outside societal norms based on sexual orientation and gender identity are marginalized and bothered. 
  • Identify the power of voice for marginalized members of our society via a role-playing activity.

  •  Identify the signs of performative allyship to understand the difference between genuine allyship and superficial gestures. 
  • Examine the consequences of performative gestures and the erasure of marginalized voices.  
  • Identify barriers that hinder progress to develop a clear roadmap for our allyship journey.

  •  Review the definition and history of “Microaggressions” first coined by Pierce (1970). 
  •  Evaluate language choice to determine if it conveys subliminal ableist, racist, sexist, ageist, heterosexist, classist, xenophobic, or privileged undertones.
